We're All Guessing Here
Imagine walking a tightrope. Blindfolded. In a storm.
Sounds like an episode of a crazy reality show?
Well, welcome to the human condition.
No script. No clear directions. We're all just fumbling along, hoping for the best.
Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. hit the nail when he said, "Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint you can on it."
He wasn't talking about just slinging colors. He meant making bold, daring strokes on the canvas of life.
So, what does this mean for you, the go-getting entrepreneur?
Relax: Nobody has a clue what they're doing.
Take Elon Musk. Rocket science isn't his background. Yet, he dared to build SpaceX.
Jeff Bezos didn't know bookselling. He just had an idea that the internet was big. And Amazon was born.
They didn't have roadmaps or manuals. Just guts, guesses, and grit.
If they had all the answers, where's the thrill? The joy of discovery? The pride in overcoming?
If entrepreneurship was predictable, it would be as fun as watching paint dry.
We're all just acting on our best guesses right now.
That's not cause to panic. That's a celebration of human spirit.
The question is, what color are you throwing on your canvas today?
A splash of daring red? Or a daub of experimental blue?
Don’t fear blank canvas or the spilled paint.
Embrace the uncertainty. Welcome the novelty. This is the beauty of it.
If you had all the answers, If everything was laid out, step by step,
You'd be bored out of your mind.
Our shared cluelessness is the adventure. It's the human condition. It's entrepreneurship.
So, to all my tightrope walkers, the next time you feel lost or uncertain, remember,
We're all just guessing here, making it up as we go along. And that's not just okay, it's absolutely incredible.
