Twitter is technically still operating at levels equal to or even beyond pre-acquisition with significantly less staff, creator tools have been rolled out (w/ monetization), it successfully fended off threads, it's the only platform where synchronous audio is still relevant, bots seem to be down and I think revenue (both subscription and ad) has stabilized. I'm banking on the fact that Elon seems to be good at business. I guess we'll see?
I actually think this (below), was one of the worst rebrands of all time.
Fantastic blog entry Scott! Elon is a master innovator and builder of brands. AI capacities will ultimately fuel a more conversational direct to consumer social media company poised for recapitalization. Yes, of course it makes perfect senses that Elon is renaming #Twitter ~ X
